Initial Contact with Designer
The client and designer determine the basic aspects of the design.
Look and feel of the design - the concept is developed based on the format and theme of your product or event
Characteristics - this includes specific information including size, images, logos, and timeline
Responsibility - what portions of the product you supply (i.e. information, logos, images) and what we supply (i.e.images, original art, fonts, design)
Fee Negotiation
The design fee is determined based on particular time and detail considerations. We will work with you and your budget to create the best design possible. As with fashion design, graphic design works and looks great at many budget levels.
Proofing
When completed, the designer will either fax a copy of the design to you or post it on our web site for on-line proofing. Our clients can check the design for conceptual conflicts and/or errors and report back to the designer any necessary changes.
Final Design & Sign-Off
Ultimately, everyone will agree that the design is finished. At this time the designer will ask the client to sign off on the design. To "sign off" for a design means that this is what the client wants and is willing to pay for, even if there are any design mistakes, spelling errors, typos, etc. So pay attention!
The design will ultimately reflect the client's image so it is essential for the client to assume final responsibility for the designs' look and accuracy. |
